On 24 September 2026, John Riches spoke at TrustBridge Global’s webinar, One Gift, Two Tax Systems: Cross-Border Charitable Planning for Americans Living in the U.K.

The webinar explored charitable structures, planning assumptions and wider considerations affecting Americans living in the United Kingdom who wish to make charitable gifts across the two jurisdictions.

Paul Bolte, Executive Vice President at TrustBridge Global, moderated the discussion. John was joined by fellow panellists Iniego Varon, Gift Planning Attorney at TrustBridge Global, and David Holmes of Ingleton Partners.

Bringing together perspectives from charitable gift planning and cross-border private client practice, the session considered the importance of coordinated advice in helping donors pursue their philanthropic objectives.
